Fleshy leaves cut into large 5 mm pieces and fragrant strawberry fruit pieces give this composition a high stimulating potential. The composition has been supplemented with functional additives. These include: peppermint leaf, strawberry fruit, lemongrass and elderberry. Yerba Mate Green will work well both as a terere, poured over ice-cold water with ice cubes, and prepared traditionally, hot.
Taste and aroma:
An exceptionally pleasant combination of yerba mate and fruit and herbs gives a beautiful taste and aroma. The lemongrass which is added to this delicious mate has a wonderful aroma derived from lemongrass oil and gives the mate taste a characteristic note of delicate astringency compared to the taste of lime or lemon. It corresponds perfectly in this composition with the character of holly and peppermint with a wonderful refreshing taste and aroma. The elderflower fruit combines perfectly with the sweet fruit of the strawberry, giving a memory of early summer.
