MUIRA PUAMA 100g
Muira puama is one of the most active botanicals, with a long history of traditional use as an energy tonic, general health improver.
The active constituents of muira puama are free long-chain fatty acids, sterols, coumarin, alkaloids and essential oils. Chemically, it contains 0.05% muirapuamine, 0.4% fat, 0.5% alkaloids, 0.6% pholbaphene, 0.6% alpha-resinic acid, 0.7% beta resinic acid, 0.5% of a mixture of esters (including behenic acid, lupeol and beta-sitosterol), as well as tannin, volatile oils and fatty acids.
Description: Muira puama bark is obtained from two Amazonian, small trees Ptychopetalum olacoides or Lirosima ovata growing up to 5 m in height. The inhabitants of the Amazon thought that the bark promotes sexual activity (in the form of a tincture).
Usage: You can prepare a tincture: bark pour a bottle of hot 20% alcohol (eg. Half a glass of bark two glasses of alcohol), let stand for several days in a dark place, often shaking the bottle. Or broth 1 teaspoon of bark pour a glass of water and simmer for 15 minutes. Drink 1/2 or 1 glass a day.
